In collaboration with ELEAGUE (Turner Broadcasting), I led the design of hero graphics for Gears 5 Summer Series: The Bonds and Betrayals of Brotherhood, a television event that aired across the United States and engaged over 300,000 households.
My role involved conceptualizing and executing high-impact visuals that captured the intensity, emotion, and narrative of the Gears 5 universe. The design process included advanced high-end retouching techniques, a specialized method for enhancing promotional imagery. This approach involved meticulously refining details, balancing realism with a polished aesthetic, and ensuring consistency with the brand’s gritty, cinematic tone.
To align the visuals with the show’s storytelling, I worked closely with marketing and production teams, integrating creative feedback to craft graphics that resonated with both fans of the series and new audiences. The final assets were strategically used across multiple platforms, including TV promotions, social media, and event marketing, amplifying the reach and impact of the campaign.
The included time-lapse video highlights the step-by-step application of the high-end retouching technique, showcasing the intricate details, precision, and creative problem-solving that went into producing the final visuals.
